On this adventure you will…

  • Depart the pier in Mykonos by a local ship and head to one of the most historic sites in all of Greece: Delos island. Located in the center of the Cyclades Island group, Delos was once a hub of trade activity and an important site of religious significance. Delos island is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Walk by the Terrace of the Lions, the theatre, temples and other public buildings that reveal traces of their former splendor.
  • Sail back to Mykonos and take a scenic drive to the inland village of Ano Mera. Visit the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, originally built in 1542 and noted for its impressive architecture, whitewashed exterior and red-colored dome.
  • Sample some regional fare during lunch at a nearby taverna.
  • Continue on to Kalafati Beach for a short stroll on the sandy shore.
  • Return to the picturesque town of Mykonos for a walking tour. See some of the landmarks, including the windmills, Little Venice, and the Paraportiani Church.

Delos Island (MY01)

Disney Excursions are not showing for Mykonos as of 9:00 am, Monday, January 18, 2020. I called Disney this morning and the Customer Service Rep found some excursions in her materials.
